Ferrostaal Industrial Projects GmbH is an international project developer and EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) service provider. Managing Director Dr. Klaus Lesker states: “This agreement marks a major step forward to boost fertilizer production in Tanzania. Combining the competence of facilitating investments with the world’s leading technologies is our key to success.”

The new plant will produce 1.3 million tons of fertilizer per year when it begins operation in 2020. Located in the southern region of Tanzania it will provide 5,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) Is a Tanzanian state owned corporation through which the Ministry of Energy and Minerals implements its petroleum exploration and development policies.
